| Stephen Brown is the creator of the wondrously-wacky and whimsical world of Glitterville. His background as a costume designer for television and film helps him bring his sparkling creations to life. A native Tennessean, Stephen Brown moved to New York for about 16 years, during which time he worked for Martha Stewart and "Saturday Night Live," decorated high-end department store windows, like Bendel's and Bergdorf Goodman's, and he designed costumes for Mariah Carey and Cindy Lauper. He also designed the costumers for the movie, "October Sky," which was based on the book, Rocket Boys. Stephen's magical Glitterville products have been sold all over the globe, including the United States, Disney, well-known stores, such as Neiman-Marcus, and in Selfridges of London. Don't be surprised if you see some of this creations in all kinds of magazines, too! It is no secret that Stephen has alway loved holidays...and that includes Birthdays. To some, Birthdays are just a sign of growing older, but it's really a holiday celebration just for the person birthed on that day. It is also a perfect excuse to have cake and ice cream, which Stephen loves! Stephen does not think that anything in the world is more beautiful than a home that is decorated for Halloween. He knows that it is not a holiday that is usually described for its beauty, but to Stephen, it is a signature color pallet and old world customs that give it a uniqueness of no other. For those who are crafty and who love making things, the Christmas holidays are truly the "Most Wonderful Time of the Year!" It is when practically everything around you needs to be wrapped, trimmed, or glittered...and sometimes...all three. |
